Obstacle.

They’ll always try to get in your way.
They’ll always try to drag you down.
They’ll always be an obstacle between
You and your dreams.
– Society, fear, and insecurities.
– Fight them. Don’t let’em win.
– Abhishek Gupta.

Some scars.

Some scars are too deep to fade away with time.
They stay with us, reminding us of what we
went through and how strong we are, for life.
– Abhishek Gupta.

Voice.

Never be silenced.
Your voice is your strength.
Your voice is your power.
Never let anyone control
you or your voice.
Never let anyone shush you.
– Never be silenced.
– Abhishek Gupta.

Door.

Your mind is just like a door.
When negativity is around, shut it.
When positivity is around, open it.
– Simple, isn’t it?
– Abhishek Gupta.

Anxiety attack.

Let me sum it up for you.
How it feels when a person,
Gets an anxiety attack.
You hyperventilate.
You cannot think straight.
Your head starts brimming,
with thoughts, sick and grim.
You cannot concentrate.
The light in your eyes,
Starts getting dim.
You fall, but you’re still standing,
You feel you’re going to die, alone.
Now you’re panicking, even more.
Your eyes start getting shut,
You try to stay awake, but you cannot,
You just lie down, then you go into a shock.
Darkness lingers in front of your eyes.
And then, you sleep.
You sleep, for a long time.
When you wake up, you see yourself,
Drenched in sweat, still panicking,
Blood rushing to your head.
But you thank God,
for you’re not, dead.
– That’s what I go through. That’s what I feel.
– Anxiety.
– Abhishek Gupta.

Patience.

Patience is the key. The key to success.
The key to happiness. Be patient.
Good will come to you.
-Abhishek Gupta.

Triumph.

Breathe. Use that anger. Cultivate it inside you and channel that anger to achieve your goals and accomplish your missions, your dreams. Use that anger, and you’ll rise a winner. Don’t let that negativity consume you. Overcome it. Overpower it. Triumph.
– Abhishek Gupta.

Anger.

Take a deep breath. Gulp that anger. It just brings negativity.
It’s not going to take you anywhere good.

-Abhishek Gupta

Dreams.

Dreams, I had.
To achieve, I left.
Left alone, I am, now.
Baffled, I feel, among everyone
Amazed too, sometimes.
Looking at this world.
Strangers everywhere.
I want to smell, my land, again.
I want to see, my people, again.
But, This path I’ve chosen.
I have to keep walking.
Not certain I am, where it’ll lead me.
But I will not stop.
Not, until my last breath.
– I will conquer my fear.
– Abhishek Gupta.

Dive into my life.

My friends think I’m a spoiled brat.
Some say I’m blunt.
Some say I’m rude.
But hey, that doesn’t make a spoiled brat.
That’s just who I am.
That’s my attitude.
No, I do not come from a rich background.
I’ve seen all the luxuries of life.
I’ve also seen bitterness of it, the strife.
I’ve seen it all. The Good. The Bad.
I’ve felt that hunger, making me go, mad.
I’ve seen my ma and pa at their peak.
But, I’ve also seen them fallen down,
When sorrow surrounded us, and,
everything felt just bleak.
Yes, I am a bit skeptical,
I am a bit blunt, a bit rude,
And you know what?
I don’t even care about being booed.
My father and my mother gave me this life,
A happy, luxurious and comfortable life.
But they’ve always lived theirs in simplicity.
I’ve seen my family, rich, touching the sky,
But I’ve also seen them crumbling down.
I’ve learned from my father and my mother,
To never give up, to never lose faith.
I’ve seen them building an empire, again,
From the scratches, facing all the Wraith.
Go ahead, come on, NOW judge me.
For everyone, I ever met,
have always done that.
I might look tough, I might look rough,
I might sometimes be a prick,
But before you judge me,
Come, my friend, take a dive into my life,
Look, for real, who I am,
beneath this rugged skin.
A son, a brother, a broken lover.
Dive into my life, and you’ll know,
Why people say this phrase.
– Never judge a book by its cover.
– Abhishek Gupta.
