I need to go.

I’m better off my own.

I know you want to help.

I know you care.

But I’m no more the same.

I have no love left in me to give.

I know you want me to believe.

Believe in you, but I can’t.

I’d like to thank you,

For all the love that you gave me,

But the truth is that nothing can save me.

So, I need to go.

Hurt.

“I am going to hurt you.”

They’re not going to say this to you,

Before they actually do it.

They are going to stay with you,

Within your shadow.

They will consume you & break you,

Brick by brick, from inside.

They can do anything they want, ’cause

There are no rules that they abide.

Be very careful,

Before letting anyone enter your life,

For they can come in any disguise.

Be lovable, but also be wise.

For they’re not going to say this to you,

// I’m going to hurt you. //

Ocean.

Our heart is like an ocean and the untold stories, that brought us heartache, are the broken ships that sank in this ocean and were never found by anyone, for they were lost in its depth and darkness.

Trust.

Whom can I trust?

Deceived & Betrayed by my own.

The sorrow that was hidden inside me,

All this time,

Now might, anytime, bust.

The rage which was buried deep

In my heart,

Has crawled its way back to the crust.

Now, every time when I look around.

There’s only one thing I ask myself.

// whom can I trust? //

I survived.

I persevered.

I survived.

Gashed by owns.

I was drowning in a melancholic tide.

My will was collapsing, slowly.

I felt it, it was bona fide.

But my Family and Friends,

They always stood by my side.

They are the only reason

That I have thrived.

I persevered.

I survived.

It’s all gray.

Behind those beautiful eyes,

We assume it must be all

Colorful & blissful, her life,

But it’s all gray.

There’s a box hidden, in her heart,

Not of any treasure,

But it’s a box full of lies.

Lies like she’s all Okay,

For there’s no one here who’ll understand,

Understand why every night she cries.

Behind that pretty face,

There lies so many stories, untold,

Stories of her getting disgraced.

I’m so sick and tired of this

Society and their mentality.

I just want to leave this place,

And rather,

Live a life like Waif.

For I want to live in a society,

A society where women would feel safe.

Ashes.

Phone, in the left hand,

And a smoke in the right.

Having a conversation with someone,

In the middle of a night.

No peace, even when we’re at home,

‘Cause, In order to live,

Every day, we’ve got to win a fight.

For the wounds that we get every day,

Family and their love,

They work as patches.

Maybe, just like that lit smoke,

Our life is, slowly, burning down to ashes.

Silence.

Silence, undoubtedly, is beautiful.

But it is not always okay to be silent.

Sometimes, it might be harmful.

Sometimes, it might mean surrendering.

Surrendering to Iniquity.

The Iniquity, to which, you want to put an end.

To fight, to put an end to it,

Silence might not be the perfect tool.

It’s a mess out there.

So, sometimes, you’ve got to act cruel.

‘Cause being silent, my friend,

Sometimes, it might be harmful.

//Act, do not put up with injustice//

Do not belittle.

Do not belittle someone who tries to write,

They might be battling their inner demons,

While they can still fight.

Maybe that’s the only way they can vent,

Pen and paper are the only thing,

In which they confide.

They write because,

They no more want to hide.

You think you’re smarter than them?

Then be a better person,

And keep the mockery aside.

Instead of making fun of them,

Illuminate their path, be their guide.

Soulmate.

The search isn’t over.

I have not given up yet.

Few bumps, in life, I had.

Few disappointments, I met.

But that’s not going to stop me.

I’ll start over again, afresh.

New goals, I will set.

Because,

The search isn’t over.

No, it isn’t over yet.
