Need.

No, I don’t need you.

Yes, I looked up to you.

Yes, I made you my world.

And what did you do to me? Hurled?

Oh I’ve dealt with such things all my life,

This is not going to put me down, again.

Because a Beautiful rainbow only appears after the stormy rain.

I just crave for the presence of good souls around me,

But Life can be sometimes astounding,

You ain’t nobody to judge me, you don’t even know what I went through,

Oh yes, I may want you.

But don’t you ever think that I need you.

Scars.

Embrace your scars,

It shows that you survived,

It shows that you fought for the thing that you thrived,

You took all the beat up and cuts by the knives,

By the people you loved, your friends, your enemies and the people who wanted to see you love deprived.

You stood up to them, you rose like Fighter.

The book is your armor and pen is your sword,

You don’t need no knife, you can slay’em with your words.

Don’t you hide those scars, it defines who you are.

Be Proud of yourself, you don’t need to make par,

Now go and Show this to the world,

You don’t need no war, all you need to do is,

Just Embrace your Scars.

Yaad.

Dard toh bohot hota hai,

Jab koi apna humse khota hai,

Aj wo apne sapne sanjon raha hai kisi aur ke sath,

Aur ek humara dil hai,

jo aj bhi akele unki yaad me rota hai.

-Abhishek Gupta.

Dil.

Dil ye mera kuch is qadar toda tune aye Zaalim,

Dard bhi hua kuch ese,

Ke in labho se alfaaz kya,

Cheekh bhi na nikal saki.

Do pal.

Chaahun toh har pal muskuraau mai,

Par har pal apna tha maine tere naam likha.

Ab jab tu hi nahi mere paas,

Toh ye do pal ki khushiyan kis kaam ki.

Final Goodbye.

It’s time for me to fly high,

It’s time for me to bid you a Final Goodbye.

Life is going to change, not me.

I’ll get what I deserve, heaven’s got a plan for me,

I hope you’ll be here to see!

I’m not going to break again, if that’s what you thought.

Because each and every moment in my life, I have fought.

This time I’ll fight myself, for my happiness.

I won’t make my life a mess.

It’s time for me to fly high,

It’s time for me to bid you a Final Goodbye.

-Abhishek Gupta

Thank you.

Thank you, for making me strong,

Thank you, for proving me wrong,

Making me realize that life isn’t a love song.

This time I’m not going to whine,

And with time, I’ll be doing just fine.

Because, after this storm ends,

The sun is, again, going to rise and shine.

Thank you for making me strong,

Thank you for proving me wrong.

We will never be apart.

You gave me life,

When I was about to end.

You helped me lifting up,

When I was going to descend.

You taught me that love has the power to heal everything,

You made me believe that you were my Queen and I was your king.

We had no Kingdom,

It was only us that we needed.

Then one day you decided to leave for no reason,

“Don’t leave me alone”, I pleaded.

Now, here I am, sitting in this empty room,

With a broken heart,

But in my heart we will never be apart.

It still aches, but I will carry a smile on my face, forever,

Will I stop loving you someday? Never.

May be One day,

I’ll become stronger with all these pain,

And all my sufferings would not go in vain,

May be One day,

I’ll rise up from all these things,

And would learn to smile, again.

Who am i?

I’ve been to different places,

I’ve seen different shades of light,

I’ve seen all luxuries,

But still my dreams were out of my sight.

Only when I got lost in this mysterious world,

I realized,

Luxuries could never satisfy my soul,

In this crowded world,

I just want to know,

What is my role?

This endless journey to find myself,

Will bring me to peace.

And the day when I find who I really am,

The time will cease.

She said she loved him.

She said she loved him,

And will always be by his side.

She said she loved him,

And would never keep him aside.

She promised that she’ll never leave him,

And that he was the one she couldn’t live without.

She said she loved him,

But now she was afraid of the world.

She said she loved him,

But she wasn’t the same girl.

She drifted away from him,

Left him all alone,

Broke all her promises,

Now there’s no one left,

He could call his own.

Now he’s looking up at the sky,

Taking his last breath, asking himself, why?

He’s going away but he has smile on his face,

Because he still believes the words she said,

She said she loved him.
